Dr. Peter Doimi de Frankopan - President and Director
Studied at Oxford and Cambridge Universities; speaks several languages, an experienced entrepreneur, works mainly in the real estate, hospitality, beauty and luxury brands sectors.
Peter studied Russian and History at Cambridge Univ, graduating with a First class degree in 1993 and winning many prizes and scholarships. He did a PhD at Oxford University about the medieval history of Europe and has been Senior Research Fellow of Worcester College, Oxford, and Faculty Fellow in Medieval Greek at Oxford since 2000. He has also been at Princeton as Stanley J. Seeger Visiting Fellow in Hellenic Studies.
In 1999, he set up A Curious Group of Hotels (www.curioushotels.com), together with his wife Jessica, specialising in luxury hotels. The group includes Cowley Manor in the UK (Sunday Times Best 100 hotels in the world); L’Hotel in Paris (Best City Hotel in the World, Harper’s Bazaar); C-Side spa (Tatler Best 101 Spas in the world); The Village Shop (Best Small Shops, Vogue); Le Restaurant, Paris (Michelin Star, 2008-); and, from the summer of 2010, The Canal House in Amsterdam. He also set up Green & Spring, a body, bath and skincare range which was named the Best Body & Beauty brand of 2010 by Harper’s.
A keen sportsman, he has the unusual distinction of holding a ‘Blue’ from both Oxford and Cambridge; he has represented Croatia at cricket and is Hon. President of the National Cricket board. He is Chairman of the Frankopan Fund which has awarded more than 100 Scholarships and Awards worth just over $1m USD over the last 13 years to outstanding young Croatian students.
Louis Doimi de Frankopan – Director
Graduated from Oxford University in natural sciences and qualified as Barrister in Middle Temple London; he is also graduate in philosophy and theology from London university. His entire professional career was in financial and banking sector lastly as Vice President of a Brazilian Bank in London. Apart from Europe he worked in Africa, Middle East and South America; he speaks several languages.
Gordana Radiæ - Chief Executive Officer
Gordana graduated on Faculty of Economics in Zagreb and continued her education with Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) where she qualified as chartered accountant. She worked in financial sector in KPMG London for six years and after returning to Croatia continued to work as a manager for KPMG Croatia. Her experience in the financial sector was rounded in Allianz Zagreb where Gordana was member of the Management Board for two years. Most recently Gordana focused on real estate business.
Kristina Kapec - Finance and Admin Manager
After graduation on Faculty of Economics in Zagreb Kristina obtained financial and administrative function in (International Federation of Red Cross) in Zagreb and after that in their headquarters in Geneva. After returned to Croatia Kristina worked for Euromedic Group Croatia as financial manager. Kristina has been with Frankopan Nekretnine since end of 2008.
Vlatka Zidar - Sales, marketing and admin Assistant Manager
After graduated economics at the Zagreb School of Economy and Management, she has continued with MBA program in marketing. Vlatka joined Frankopan Nekretnine in 2002 and gained extensive experience in property project management.
